Speedy deletion nomination of Philobiblon[edit]

A tag has been placed on Philobiblon, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Philobiblon[edit]

hi, this article has now been deleted multiple times and you keep re-creating it in more or less the same form.I am going to propose this one for speedy deletion, again. To see what is needed for a serious journal article, please see our journal article writing guide and the notability guidelines for journals. Repeatedly re-creating deleted material can be considered vandalism and may get you blocked from editing WP. Worse, it could lead to the article being "salted", making re-creation of the article at some future point, when the journal has perhaps become notable, very complicated. The article Philobiblon (journal) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of notability per WP:PERIODICAL.

The criteria for NOTABILITY its: "For journals in humanities, .... one can also look at how frequently the journal is held in various academic libraries (this information is available in Worldcat." Hi Ikiloni! I'm responding to the email you sent to User:BattyBot regarding the Philobiblon article. If you believe there are no doubts about the journal's notability, then you can be bold and remove the {{notability}} template. Hi, GoingBatty, RandyKitty and Andrei_Stroe: I think that the Journals notability it's ESTABLISHED! 1.) The joulnal it's accredited; 2.) It's Indexed in Scopus, EBSCO and ProQuest 3.) It's avaible in WoldCat (290 great libraries) 4.) The article about the journal utilize valid references,, including Google Scholar and Images...Please errase the notability dubt box!!!
