Wrong area

[edit]

You accidentally created your user page in main article space, in that it lacked a "User:" before your username. I've moved it to the appropriate location, here User:Ilovewiki512. Besides clicking that link, you should be able to access it easily while logged in by clicking the link at the very top of every wiki page; it's just to the right of a little person icon (that is, the icon is small). Similarly, when people wish to talk to you, they will usually write here, at User talk:Ilovewiki512. Your userpage is for you to use to post information about yourself; conversations with others are usually done in talk space. Welcome, and have fun editing! —ShadowRanger (talk|stalk) 19:48, 28 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

TY! I didn't know everything about having an account or what I did for a user page, and I still don't, but now I know a bit more! TY! ilovewiki512
No problem. Just heads up, when you make a post on a talk page, you should sign it by typing four tildes after it, ~~~~. And to keep the conversation easy to read (so replies are easy to distinguish), put colons at the front of your reply, one more than the post above it. If you look at the source for this thread, you'll see that I added one to your reply, and put two on my reply, so the indentation progresses for each reply. —ShadowRanger (talk|stalk) 22:38, 28 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I see. That system is pretty smart. Thank you for the heads up!

My Book

I am currently in process of making a fantasy book partialy based off of DND. I am constantly making changes to it, so check here often. If you have any feedback or advice, put it on my user page.

The Elemental Balance Book One Water and Fire

Gotawabin was having a hard time fastening his pack's strap. It had always stuck, and it was very annoying when you needed to be done with packing things into it quickly. It had slowed him down many times, and now he was thankful for it this time. He didn't want to leave. He knew the goblin council was wrong to banish him. If only the infernal dragon had just left the goblin colonies alone, he wouldn't be leaving. That dragon had even killed his beloved betrothed. Oh, Inlue, if only you hadn't been visiting your flaming family, you would still be alive, and I wouldn't be leaving this colony alone. Blast those infernal wretches! All they ever did for us was to discourage our relationship. Gotawabin had hated his soon-to-be-in-laws. Then again, he had loved Inlue very much, and she had died there as well. Not to mention that the only reason they loved each other so much is because people used to try to split them up and Inyurmout parents were the main culprits there. So he thought he should probably show them a little respect... sometimes. It’s that dragon who's the main culprit in her death, though, he thought. The dragon's name was Gutburn, and she was the killer of the legendary goblin hero, Tinkanon Boomkeg. Tinkanon was a great hero, and very powerful, and yet, he had been killed by Gutburn as easily as a hot knife slides through butter. No, Gutburn was not the kind of creature to fool around with, and Gotawabin knew it. So did the goblin council, but then they didn’t tell me to kill Gutburn, they told me to kill her babies. Dragon eggs are a rare thing, best served scrambled (in Gotawabin's opinion), and hard to break. Dragons fresh out of the egg, however, didn't even have scales. Gotawabin had been told to go to Gutburn’s cave, kill one of the baby dragons there, and bring back a tooth or a claw. He did not, however, slay a baby. He just brought back a small tooth that he found at the mouth of the cave. It would have worked to, thought Gotawabin. How was I supposed to know there was a dragon specialist on the goblin council? I never listened to my mother when she said who was good at what on the council. No one listened to their mothers when they started talking about stuff like that. Well, that’s the past, thought Gotawabin. No point in thinking about that now. I should be thinking, however, on were I’m going. The Elvin forests are off limits, and the dwarfs would sooner marry a fish then allow me to live within a million miles of them. The only reason the war isn’t still going on is because they had that knew race to think of. What was it that mother said they looked like? Ah yes, elves, but without the pointy ears. She said they were called homans. Or was it humans? That dwarf idea isn’t that bad though, so long as they don’t know I’m there. With his knew destination in mind, Gotawabin set out for the dwarf mountain closest to him, muttering as he went. "I'll have a bigger room; I might have my own stream, and, no rules! Aside from, of course, not tunneling in to far." All the while he talked with himself, he was completely unaware of the set of red eyes following him in the brush.

Dorgan Dragonsbane let out a wail. He knew he would soon be dead. If only I had listened to Bragan! If I had, I wouldn’t have this blasted dragon chasing me! Oh please, Dorlan, please save me! He had been running for 10 minutes and was near collapsing. He knew this was the beast’s game, and he was terrified by what was going to happen. He continued to run, searching and searching for a hiding place. He stopped, finding a rocky outcrop with a small dent in the side which he hoped could hide him. He scurried over to it, at the limit of his strength, and began silently praying for the dragon to simply pass by. Gutburn was enjoying herself. She did not often hunt sentient creatures, as it was not her way, but he needed a bit of sport, as she had been cooped up in her cave for to long. Caring for dragon babies was difficult, and caring for dragon babies without a male dragon around while defending said babies while posing as a male dragon… well, lets just say it’s no small task. There was very little fun involved, and she was having the most fun she’d had since the babies had hatched. She stopped, as she had lost sight of her small adversary, and circled, searching for his scent. Finding it, she followed his distinct smell all the way to a small ledge overlooking a valley, about 3 feet off the ground. She stopped, searching for her small prey, and smiled inwardly. She knew where her quarry was, and it was a fool to think that a dragon could be stopped just because it did not see what it was looking for. She darted her head underneath the overhang, scaring Dorganathon into paralysis. He scrambled away, running for all he was worth, but he didn’t have much left in him. The brief pause underneath the overhang gave him enough energy to run a few more feet, but after that he collapsed, feeling utterly terrified. Gutburn swooped in, pinning Dorgan to the ground, and roared in his face. She was going for fear her, and was hugely successful. Dorgan nearly wet himself he was so afraid, and lashed out with fear. With one lucky shot, he hit Gutburn in the face with his axe. Gutburn reeled back, momentarily blinded with pain. Dorgan used this chance to run the hardest he had ever run in his life, fueled by pure, raw fear. He made for the dwarf mountain Gildaharg, hoping to be able to make it into the small tunnels before the dragon recovered. Alas, Gutburn was quick to recover, and pinned Dorgan yet again, this time making sure that she had a good grip on legs and arms. Dorgan struggled fruitlessly, only managing to hurt himself. when Gutburn lowered her head to take a big bite out of Dorgan, he spat in her eye. Gutburn wailed, pawing at her eye socket, trying to get the saliva out, blinking rapidly. Dorgan used this time to clear more distance between him and Gildaharg. He had barely made any headway when Gutburn recovered, sending a blast of lightning at him, just barely missing him by an inch. It raised every hair on Dorgan’s head; literally, the electricity nearly pulled him off his feet with the magnetism. He decided right then and there to not waste any more time, and began chanting in Dwarven, speaking in raspy tones. Meanwhile, Gutburn decided to simply posses him, so began to cast charm person. She growled out the runic words, and managed to finish her spell just as Dorgan finished his, and the two energies collided, throwing both to the ground, knocking them unconscious. The last thing that Dorgan thought before he lost consciousness altogether was thank you, Dorlan, for making us dwarves with thick bones.

Dorgan awoke, feeling immensely sore. He looked around, and found that night had come, and the dragon had apparently vanished. He hoped that the explosion had seriously harmed the dragon, for he was in no position to continue fighting. Oh, how will I get out of this? Gutburn is sure to hunt me down now! Not quite, little one. As Dorgan heard that voice in his head, with its raspy, snakelike tone, he was filled with fear, for he instantly realized that it must be Gutburn. Perhaps I have not made myself clear. You are in no danger from me, and I do not believe that I could hurt you even if I wanted to. Dorgan tested something, using the dragon’s form of communication to speak with him. What do you mean? Why can’t you hurt me? I mean, it’s not as if I want you to slice me open, but it is rather strange. Hold up your left hand spoke Gutburn As Dorgan did as he was instructed, he was filled with fear at the sight of it. It was yellow, covered in scaled, and had three fingers with long, razor sharp claws on the end.
