After seeing too may travesties against encyclopediadom such as Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lamia (Dungeons & Dragons), I have given up being User:Active Banana, scrambled my password, and retired from actively editing / wasting my time with a project that doesnt seriously want to be an encyclopedia.
I created this account to be able to monitor and laugh at the downward spiral and because I hate the default interface. I have no intention of editing and do not wish for the block to be removed. InActive Banana (talk) 23:49, 13 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I hope you reconsider. GFOLEY FOUR16:16, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If only you weren't blocked, you could contribute to WP:DUMB. Remember that there are other areas of the project that you can contribute to. It might even be therapeutic. Rennell435 (talk) 20:21, 10 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Melanie Rawn contains unsupported claims about a living person's medical condition which need to be removed per WP:BLP. InActive Banana (talk) 16:20, 24 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

So you want known BLP issues to remain published? Fine. InActive Banana (talk) 19:39, 24 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have actually re-added the information, with a citation. The author discusses the issue in the Author's Note of Spellbinder, which is viewable on Google Books. GorillaWarfare (talk) 17:10, 24 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Bananaphone

[edit]
I find it a bit offensive to have [my accomplishments] maligned by someone whose only qualifications are that he has a Wikipedia account, and whose identification is a photograph of a pile of bananas.

Still a favorite. Hope you'll reconsider your departure. Cheers,   — C M B J   08:44, 15 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Really?

[edit]

If you don't remember me, I'm the guy that recreated the Transformice article and not long after you made an AfD on it. I went back and read the AfD for old times sake and I decided to go by your user page to see what you've been up to lately. Well, little did I realize that not two weeks after the AfD consensus was 'keep' you got into another AfD trial for a separate article and after that you gave up. So that's it? Wikipedia is a 'sinking ship' that no longer resembles an encyclopedia? You're just going to turn tail and run off before things didn't go the way you hoped? You were so adamant in at least my case with the way you first set the article up for speedy deletion, then went to the AfD to challenge it some more. What happened to that? All that drive and passion you had is gone when an AfD doesn't go your way? Unbelievable. ☆ Antoshi ☆ T | C 19:39, 16 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
