Wikipedia:Suspected copyright violations[edit]

Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to Wikipedia:Suspected copyright violations. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. -- ReyBrujo 04:49, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article In a Sense, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. Re: By IN-A-SENSE[edit]

Sorry if I offended you, I was just following the formal steps of Wikipedia. The article had been previously deleted as a non notable band (see the deletion log). Since the reason for deleting was failing our music notability guideline, I added a {{prod}} tag according to our proposed deletion policy. Since you object the proposed deletion, I will finish the formal process by sending the article to be discussed in the community at the articles for deletion with the same argument as the previous deletion and the "prod". In that discussion (to which you will find a link in the article shortly) you will be able to present as much proof as necessary to demonstrate the notability of the band. After a certain period (of up to 7 days), an administrator will review the case and decide if the arguments to keep the article are enough compared to the arguments of those asking for the deletion. Again, I am just following an established set of "movements" aimed at keeping the content above a minimum set of rules. Finally, about the "So before you flag a wikpedia site to be deleted maybe you should do your research." comment, I will direct you to this paragraph in our Verifiability policy (a policy means nobody can omit what it is stated there): The burden of evidence lies with the editor who adds or restores material. In other words, I am under no obligation of doing a research, that is the writer's work. Thanks for understanding. -- ReyBrujo 05:34, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
