Over-linking[edit]

Hi, Inceptio. I thought your addition of a wikilink to Rome from Romulus and Remus would be a case of over-linking, so I reverted your edit. The article already has blue-links to City of Rome and Roman Kingdom; those are more immediately relevant than the more general article on Rome. But please don't let this put you off! Regards, Haploidavey (talk) 16:11, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Haploidavey: Hello, Haploidavey. Thank you for your advice and encouragement. I will be more careful in the future ! Inceptio (talk) 20:14, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Adding periods (full stops)[edit]

Hello. Please quit adding periods, or full stops (what you call "dots") to phrases which are not complete sentences. Thank you. BeenAroundAWhile (talk) 19:02, 12 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@BeenAroundAWhile: Hi ! Thank you very much for your feedback. I am very sorry. It seems that I have misunderstood these community rule. I will be more careful in the future in order to avoid making mistakes again. --Inceptio (talk) 17:24, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

April 2021[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to engage in subtle vandalism by making unexplained changes to information, you may be blocked from editing. Theroadislong (talk) 19:53, 12 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Theroadislong: Hello! Thank you very much for your warning! It was not my intention to "vandalism" articles. I will be more explicite when I edit an article. As I am not familiar with all Wikipedia concept, could you tell me what you mean with "disruptive editing"? Is it the same remark than user:BeenAroundAWhile (i.e adding unwelcome periods)? It will help me a lot ! --Inceptio (talk) 17:34, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Artemis edit[edit]

Hello again, Inceptio. I've reverted your edit to Artemis, and under the circumstances thought I'd explain why. You turned a single, well-sourced paragraph into two paragraphs by inserting a space. The space separated the cited source from the first paragraph (making it look as if the first paragraph was unsourced).

I hope you're not finding all this critical feed back too difficult. You impress me as someone sincere, who is doing their best but doesn't have certain basic knowledge of Wikepedia's Manual of Style, especially where punctuation is concerned. I was also wondering if English is your first language. I ask because when I looked at your contributions page, you'd used a cedilla in an edit summary relating to a French president. I don't think very many English speakers would have bothered! Haploidavey (talk) 18:34, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Haploidavey: Hello Haploidavey! Thank you for your instructive feedback. As I am new on Wikipedia, I really appreciate to have them. You are right I am not a native English speaker but a French one. --Inceptio (talk) 19:45, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sphère (entreprise) moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Sphère (entreprise), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ... discospinster talk 16:58, 28 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Discospinster: Hi, thank you for your message! Honnestly, I do not understand how the translation has been published as I did not finish it. I am very sorry for that... I will end it on the draftspace. --Inceptio (talk) 18:10, 28 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
OK, good to know. ... discospinster talk 19:23, 28 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Discospinster: Hello, I am trying to make appear the logo of the company in the template in the infobox "company". But it does not work. Could you help me ? or give me where I could the information? The url adress of the logo is the following : https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fichier:Logo_SPHERE.png and the logo is present on the French page of the company

Thank you so much in advance --Inceptio (talk) 10:52, 2 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
