Proxy range for Beyond the Network America

Decline reason: This is not personal. Editing Wikipedia from anonymizing proxies, such as this one from "Beyond the Network America", is not allowed. --jpgordon::==( o ) 22:14, 10 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am an American citizen working abroad. I don't know who had this IP address before me, but they tend to be very vague here in Iraq. The block is not necessary - I have never violated any wiki policies. Please confirm.

File source problem with File:AUI-S Campus Main Building.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:AUI-S Campus Main Building.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 11:46, 14 March 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 11:46, 14 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This was resolved - the picture stands. J Milburn did not read the copyright information properly.

Possibly unfree File:Library study.jpg[edit]

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Library study.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the file's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the file description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. -- ТимофейЛееСуда. 14:28, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

File:AUI-S Campus Main Building.jpg needs authorship information[edit]

Dear uploader:

The media file you uploaded as File:AUI-S Campus Main Building.jpg appears to be missing information as to one (or more) of the following :

  1. The author or creators of the work, (including information as to the author's lifespan).
  2. Where and how this particular version was obtained.
  3. When the work was created,

If you did provide such information, it is currently confusing for others trying to make use of the image.

It would be appreciated if you would consider updating the file description page, to make the authorship of the media clearer.

Although some images may not need author information in obvious cases, (such where an applicable source is provided), authorship information aids users of the image, and helps ensure that appropriate credit is given (a requirement of some licenses).

  • If you created this media yourself, please consider explicitly including your user name, for which: {{subst:usernameexpand|Indexing89}} will produce an appropriate expansion,
    or use the {{own}} template.

Please also add authorship and sourcing to other files you created or uplopaded. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions please see Help:File page. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 19:39, 18 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
