Montezuma's revenge (disambiguation)
[edit]Please note that disambiguation pages like Montezuma's revenge (disambiguation) are meant to help readers find a specific existing article quickly and easily. For that reason, they have guidelines that are different from articles. From the Wikipedia:Disambiguation dos and don'ts you should:
- Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
- Use short sentence fragment descriptions, with no punctuation at the end
- Use exactly one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry that mentions the title being disambiguated
- Only add a "red link" if used in existing articles, and include a "blue link" to an appropriate article
- Do not pipe links (unless style requires it) – keep the full title of the article visible
- Do not insert external links or references - Wikipedia is not a business directory

CSD tagging
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. When tagging pages for speedy deletion as empty pages, please first make sure to check the page history to that they haven't been blanked because of vandalism. Thanks. --Paul_012 (talk) 17:25, 11 December 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm JCMLuis. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Skinny jeans have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. luis. 💬 18:03, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
- Did you revert my edit by mistake by the way? luis. 💬 18:04, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
- I didn't mean to revert your edit. Sorry. Industrial Arthropod (talk) 18:05, 12 December 2022 (UTC)

- If you wish to change it, go ahead, but you should try to put content into the article instead of just putting "no page info yet". Or perhaps make a draft? Industrial Arthropod (talk) 18:19, 15 December 2022 (UTC)

Not a Wikipedia page, so I have made a redirect. Xx236 (talk) 13:48, 19 December 2022 (UTC)

Draftification
[edit]Hello, Industrial Arthropod,
Please do not move any more main space articles to Draft space. You are still a new editor and haven't had sufficient experience to know when draftification is an appropriate action to take. Please gain more experience editing and improving existing articles before trying to take on administrative responsibilities. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 01:55, 5 January 2023 (UTC)
Hi Industrial Arthropod. In the future, please remember to check a page's history before tagging for speedy deletion. Babu Pal was originally a user's talk page and had to be moved back to its place instead of being deleted to preserve its history. Isabelle Belato 🏳🌈 15:50, 7 January 2023 (UTC)

Frank Mba
[edit]Please be more careful when evaluating drafts. You rejected Draft:Frank Mba on the grounds that it duplicated an article we already have — but the article we already have is about a basketball player from Equatorial Guinea, while the draft is about a police commissioner from Nigeria, meaning they clearly aren't about the same person. I've had to revert your decline accordingly; the page titles may have to be changed if the draft is accepted, and there might still be other reasons to reject the draft, but "we already have an article about this person" isn't grounds for rejection, because the existing article is about a different person who merely happened to have the same name. ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:37, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
