Notability of Outpost For Hope[edit]

A tag has been placed on Outpost For Hope requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Corvus cornixtalk 00:34, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 04:48, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome![edit]

Hello Inelia, welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Our intro page contains a lot of helpful material for new users - please check it out! If you need help, visit Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on this page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

I'm sorry that you have been bitten for your contributions. The problem is, we get so many people who want to abuse Wikipedia to promote their organization that people have become very suspicious. I encourage you to do some edits around the area. E.g. you could insert links in Outpost For Hope to other articles, and maybe you find something to edit in those articles, too. I will also do some minor edits to the article, and I recommend that you take a look at the page history to see what I've done and learn from it. Cheers! — Sebastian 08:32, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm, I'm sorry that it has been deleted already. Tell you what: I'll copy what you wrote in your user space at User:Inelia/Outpost For Hope. There you can work at it without being disrupted. When you feel you're done, write me a note and I'll take a look at it. When it's good, we can recreate it. — Sebastian 08:39, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
