On Martin Luther King Jr the cointelpro stuff is just speculation that it followed him his whole life. Can it be deleted from his intro summary? Which is: " J. Edgar Hoover considered him a radical and made him an object of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's COINTELPRO for the rest of his life." No. Wikipedia does not censor things that are reliably sourced and notable. If an exception was made for this, then one would have to be made for the numerous people who want things like Mohammed's image removed. Do not see how it's anti-American either.
