A tag has been placed on Herne Webber, Shamanic Priest requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Wheelchair Epidemic (talk) 16:36, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I looked up A7, and it specifically said a person does not have to proove notability, just give a "reasonable" explanation of why the person might be of interest. I request more time, such that the Knoxville community might come to my aid on this article.

In my opinion, the article you created did not include an assertion of notability. In addition to that, I believe that it is very likely that you are Herne Webber, and it isn't appropriate for any of us to write about ourselves. If you think that Wikipedia policy supports undeletion of this article, though, you are welcome to request undeletion officially from the community at Deletion review. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 19:11, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Sunnheim Arbor Frithyard[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Sunnheim Arbor Frithyard, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Offer of help[edit]

You seem to be having some trouble getting started. May I offer you some friendly advice? It looks like much of what you're writing is articles about yourself. Under our conflict of interest guidelines, we all agree not to write about ourselves, because it's so hard to accurately judge our own notability and to write in a neutral way about ourselves. If you'd like to be involved with making the encyclopedia better, though, there are lots of ways you can do that which don't involved writing about yourself- check out the community portal for a whole variety of work that needs to be done here. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 16:39, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Creating Talk:Herne Webber, Shamanic Priest isn't helpful, because that article has been deleted. It sounds like you haven't yet read the notability criteria; you'll need a fuller understanding of that rule, as well as the conflict of interest rule, both of which I mentioned in my previous message, in order to make useful contributions to Wikipedia. Remember, we really don't write about ourselves here. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 16:53, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Sunnheim Arbor Frithyard[edit]

Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 18:09, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
