Most of that user's uploads of U.K. government images are fine, and were deleted wrongly. This is since most crown copyright material is under the Open Government License (see [1], linked on the OGL templates)—as I heard from Jdforrester, who used to work at a responsible agency. —innotata 15:09, 2 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I will be able to get them in about a month's time, but only the print versions, so I can send you earlier, shorter articles from these: I'm not up to scanning 121 pages.

You could try finding someone with access to the electronic version, though, looks like people at the Université de Montréal and Université du Québec à Montréal and some others in Quebec (at most universities?) and Poland (through all libraries?) can access the e-journal. Or you could ask at the German resource exchange, or people at universities in Germany (the journal is published by a Frankfurt institution). —innotata 19:31, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

*Your ego would prefer the inquiring public be denied the facts. If one were to Google "Chipmunks eat vegetables", there are COUNTLESS pages on it, and you know it. I have a Ranch in the High Desert and have been feeding them Carrots for over a decade. I watch them eat plants all day long. Omnivorous diet= Animal/Plants. Vegetable/Plant......same thing. It's cousin the squirrel is granivorous, and he too grabs a carrot here and there. However, the Chipmunk will eat all the carrots he can fit in his stomach, and then go back and eat the remaining green part of the plant until there is no plant. I'm going to stay out of your little Chipmunk fantasy so as not to confuse those that might inquire; with the page changing every day. Thanks for ruining my editing experience there, and I hope you eventually find a new place to spend your time. NO ONE owns an article on this site. - Please keep this to the issues. Wikipedia is supposed to be verifiable, based on reliable sources. The list of foods chipmunks eat can only represent typical items, not be a comprehensive list. Typical diets are not obvious. We do need more information on chipmunk diets, but "vegetable" is a vague word, which doesn't explain what chipmunks eat (especially away from humans) very well. —innotata 21:11, 21 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've replied to this earlier: chipmunks don't literally eat everything, especially not frequently. I don't mind having these complaints here, you want to add things which aren't clear or sourced, that's all in my view. Changed the header though. Anna Soubry photo???

Hi Innotata. Any idea where I could get a photo of Anna Soubry? The existing picture is rather unfair but I couldn't find a HMG one and you have kindly advised before. JRPG (talk) 16:07, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The only places I've seen these images found is from government websites, Flickr pages, and those FOI requests by Steve Elibank (eg [2]). There's a photo on the dh.gov.uk site, which not marked as non-Crown Copyright, but it's not very good. You could try the Cabinet Office and such sites, or search .gov.uk sites on Google (but most are sites of local governments whose works are not under Crown Copyright so not necessarily under the OGL). She's only just been appointed to her first government post a few days ago according to the article, so there won't be DH news articles on her, and looks like she might not be high profile (or involved in Big Society, Lords reform, so on) enough to be in Cabinet Office news etc. —innotata 16:31, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Grey-headed Sparrow

Thanks for fixing the northern grey-headed sparrow page. I tried to look up the Swahili (and Swainson's and southern) sparrow - but looks like the only subspecies of the former grey-headed sparrow that has a light-colored beak is the southern grey-headed sparrow - which would be quiet unlikely as far north as Olduvai. The beak could be a variation of course and I'm pretty sure the book I have only talks about "grey-headed sparrow" :) Yathin S Krishnappa (talk) 05:06, 19 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Aren't those only be the bill colours of breeding adults? The species commonly occurring in the Serengeti are the Swahili Sparrow and Parrot-billed Sparrow, so I'm pretty sure it's the former, but I'll take a look at my ID sources later. I honestly don't remember much about the bird description and I don't have my Africa bird books with me to verify why I had called it so. It was a photograph Id-ed as grey-headed sparrow in my archives from 2009 -- but since then I've mostly spent time in southern Africa. Thanks for getting back to me on the ID question. Wikipedia Loves Libraries Minneapolis

An invite list would be a good idea. Using AWB, you can easily send talkpage messages to ever user on a particular list (the NYC list is just everyone who ever expressed any interest in an NYC meetup) or in a particular geographical user category (Wikipedians in X). Hi,

I'm trying to clear the outstanding geonotice requests, and I'm a bit stuck with your Minneapolis one - I'm not quite sure what the coordinates should be, as I don't really know the region very well. Could you have a look at it? The system needs two points (eg/ [40,-76], [38.5,-77.5]) as corners for a rectangular area, and will notify anyone within this box.
