I've nominated this article for deletion because the "proposed deletion" notice was removed without comment and the article still fails to assert notability. See WP:NOTABILITY, WP:CORP and so for the consensus guidelines. There are several days now for you to make your points about keeping the article. --Mereda 07:45, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hello Mereda, I have noticed that the article Sree Pushpaka Seva Sangham and Pushpakadhwani were deleted. I am not an experienced user of wikipedia. So I was not able to do anything about the deletion. But it is sure that these articles were relevent. You can find link to this article in a number of articles which is under construction. These articles were about an organization in Kerala state and its magazine. If you can revert it please. Creating a new article like that is not at all easy.

Thanking You Insvik 14:28, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

    • I appreciate it's not easy. All of Wikipedia works by consensus among editors, like you and me, but with various policies and guidelines as a loose kind of rulebook. What you need next is Wikipedia:Undeletion policy, which explains about contacting an administrator. The administrators involved with deleting these two articles were User:Grandmasterka and User:Coredesat. Either one of them might be able to help you. Their reasons for deletion are given in the logs at [1] and [2]. You'll see that what they did is linked to agreed policies and guidelines, so you'll need facts to show why it wasn't a good decision. Good luck! Mereda 16:25, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Jati system of Kerala

[edit]

I see you had made a redirect link to the Caste system of Kerala. The issue of merging the 2 articles is being discussed, and hence I have reverted your edit. Please do not take actions untill the issue has been resolved.

Thankyou Kshatriya knight 00:00, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

hello insvik i did not delete any article, i made a redirection to the Jati system of Kerala article. if you look at the history of the article you will see what i mean. feel free to discuss or edit the caste system of kerala article as you wish Kshatriya knight 04:20, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

one more thing, there is a Caste system in Kerala article which i had redirected towards Jati system of Kerala. ive reverted my edit so you we can continue to discuss the caste/jati debate. *note: as i had said in my previous edit, i did not delete the other article, Caste system of Kerala, and having found it empty made a redirect to the Jati system of Kerala article, check in the deletion log for yourself. It is easy to pass quick judgement.
