Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Is0811a, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, your edit to Ibraheem Samirah does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Questions page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Below are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  Flyer22 Frozen (talk) 03:55, 14 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Is0811a. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Ibraheem Samirah, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. NorthBySouthBaranof (talk) 10:16, 5 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There are no conflicts of interest. There are no external relationships with anyone or thing. All information being placed has attached sources. At this point, it is getting ridiculous that well-sourced information is being denied placement by you and others. Please stop. Is0811a (talk) 01:37, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I am new to Wikipedia. There was some work to create neutrality but not a lot. I have been doing the work myself. I do not understand this back and forth that we are having at all. Please refer to the edits I am making and their sources and judge from there, please. Otherwise, leave my well-sourced edits alone. I will be doing edits slow enough for you to catch up to them over the course of a days. This will give you the time to check the sources for validity. Is0811a (talk) 01:43, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
