January 2014[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to White Prosperity may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • {''''Gladiolus''''' 'White Prosperity' is a [[cultivar]] of ''[[Gladiolus]]'' which owes its glory

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 20:54, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Link spamming[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Ohnoitsjamie. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added, because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 21:53, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much for your feedback. This is my first time editing Wikipedia and I apology if I made some mistakes. I am having a few difficulties. I wanted to upload pictures of gladiolus as I noticed you were missing quite a few but I didn't know how to do this. I also wanted to create a page for missing cultivars but was not able to do so as I do not know how to do this. Could you please tell me which links you removed so that I understand what I did wrong and don't do it again... With kind regards...

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 16:14, 26 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for getting back to me but I am still unclear where you see "link spamming". For instance, I updated the Tigridia pavonia article because it was missing information. What was incorrect there? If you research this flower bulb, you will see that the information added was accurate. I am sorry for bothering you but I would like to understand - so that in the end, I don't waste your time or mine... Thanks again....

{{Help me}} Thanks for your help! I just created a draft article on Dahlia 'Akita'. Do you mind taking a look? This is the first time I am doing this and I want to do it right. I look forward to hearing from you!
