Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism and are immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. Matthew_hk tc 13:06, 5 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to F.Y.R. Macedonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008. Your edits appeared to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. Images

[edit]

Nice work on the MK league and cup. One thing you ought to know though is that you cannot use the logos of clubs in the articles about the cup. The image rationale gives only the reason why the image could be used in the article about the club, not in every article. If you want to use them elsewhere you should do something like this. You notice the image having two rationales? That's the only way as far as I know. I hope I was of some help at least. Cheers. --Laveol T 00:03, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Borac Cacak or FK Zemun? o.O

[edit]

Just interested, why is there a constant editing from Borac to Zemun and back in the UEFA Cup article? Who is the actual participant and why? Thanks, Hockey-holic (talk) 21:11, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hm, I see. Since Partizan qualified for the Champions League, Zemun would be the natural choice. Can you try and find a source where it is documented that Zemun did (not?) gain a licence? :-) Hockey-holic (talk) 21:22, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. With the SR Macedonia thing, I think we should have it in the infobox, but not in the introduction. That way, we have the information, but we don't clutter the lead with the City-State-Country formula. What do you think? BalkanFever 12:17, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OK Isavevski (talk) 12:23, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Cool. By the way are you in Macedonia? Considering I'm in Melbourne, it would be hard for us to be the same person, even if some think that. BalkanFever 13:09, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I'm from Bitola. I don't know why people thought that we are the same person :) Isavevski (talk) 15:23, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Macedonian Premier League 2008-09

[edit]

Hello Isavevski,

I'd like to adapt the article to fb templates so that it is in order with other UEFA leagues for this season. Since you are the main editor and have better knowledge about Makedonian soccer then I have, could you perhaps overlook the proposals below and tell me if they are OK before I create the templates?

I had some difficulties to make proposals for the promoted Turnovo team since I do not know if "Horizont" is the name of a sponsor or their real name. If it is a sponsor name which has not been permanent for at least 10 years (e.g. as in Bayer Leverkusen), it has to be excluded from the name.

The template name for Baškimi was chosen because of the article name. If you prefer a version with š, just rename it. In this case I would create a redirect on Bashkimi to the real template.

By the way, the real template name would be something like "Template:Fb team Vardar Skopje". To save time and space I cut off the first part which are similar to all templates anyway as seen here.

Name of template displayed name article name abbreviation
Bashkimi Kumanovo Baškimi FK Bashkimi BAŠ
(Horizont?) Turnovo Horizont? Turnovo? FK Turnovo HOR? HTU?
Makedonija Gjorče Petrov Makedonija FK Makedonija Gjorče Petrov MGP
Metalurg Skopje Metalurg FK Metalurg Skopje MET
Milano Kumanovo Milano FK Milano Kumanovo MIL
Napredok Kičevo Napredok FK Napredok NAP
Pelister Bitola Pelister FK Pelister PEL
Pobeda Prilep Pobeda FK Pobeda POB
Rabotnički Skopje Rabotnički FK Rabotnički RAB
Renova Džepčište Renova FK Renova REN
Sileks Kratovo Sileks FK Sileks SIL
Vardar Skopje Vardar FK Vardar VAR

By the way, the fact that you have already inserted the round of every game into the results section will not be a problem. All that has to be done is to put a construct like <small>round number here</small> after each line. Of course, that bit of code has to be removed when the result of the game is inserted.

Thanks a lot, Hockey-holic (talk) 09:56, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your answers.
As for Turnovo, the naming will be without Horizont, then (You should make a note in this team's article about the sponsor name, though).
As for Bashkimi, the official homepage of the Macedonian football federation lists them with 'sh', so I'll go with that, too.
Finally, the code for the inserted rounds would be similar to the code used here. Just click on the edit button and take a look. Artyom originally came up with the idea in the current Russian Premier League article, and I used it on other articles here and there. Hockey-holic (talk) 16:14, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Prva Liga uses head-to-head? Good to know that. :-) I added the functionality, as well as more explanations under the actual code. The results boxes will be made during the evening; they take a little more time due to the rounds display. Do you know which key numbers for pairing determination are used for the third round? (Take a look at the Croatian, Serbian or Slovakian leagues for examples) Hockey-holic (talk) 19:10, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh... You already did them! :D Hockey-holic (talk) 19:12, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Aftermath of Bashkimi withdrawal

[edit]

Could you perhaps add a reference for the Bashkimi withdrawal to the appropriate sections so that the information can be reproduced? :-) Hockey-holic (talk) 16:37, 3 August 2008 (UTC) P.S.: I would ask you to refrain from live updates since Wikipedia is not a news agency. It may be allowed on the UEFA competition articles, but it is rather useless on domestic league articles. Once all games of a day are over, just make the whole day's edit. :-)[reply]

Hello,

it's me again. I wanted to ask if you could sum up this page for me. It's a note about the retreat of Mladost Lucani from the Serbian Superliga and their replacement by Banat Zrenjanin. I could only assume that it had to do with financial problems by deriving some words, but I would like to add an explanation of the matter to the Superliga article. Could you help me out? Thanks, Hockey-holic (talk) 15:33, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:BregalnicaStip.gif)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:BregalnicaStip.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:17, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Isavevski, I would like to ask you to visit the history page of National Liberation War of Macedonia and see what is going on. I spend so much time making this article, and this user Köbra comes and vandalizes the whole text of the article and excludes valuable photos. Please compare my and Kobra's version and tell which is more informative. I would like your opinion on the subject. Regards. --Revizionist (talk) 00:13, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thanks for your uploads. You've indicated that the following images are being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why they meet Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page an image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --02:27, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have already removed them. Please tell your opinion on the talk page of the article, because user Kobra is constantly reverting my version which is informative and imposing his version which is neither esthetically nor informative. Regards. --Revizionist (talk) 13:14, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I just wanted to ask you are head-to-head tiebreakers really the second most important in standings classification? Actually are they tiebreakers at all? I'm asking this mostly because it seems really unfair that teams are ranked according to their head-to-head points although one team played 2 games home and 1 away (after all 3 games played between two teams). Plus, macedonianfootball.com lists standings according to the goal differences. I would appreciate if you could explain this to me. Thanks, bye! SonjiCeli (talk) 21:49, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Top goalscorers

[edit]

Could you please add a source for goalscorers list? Also, it would be nice to keep it to top 10 plus the scorers with the same number of goals as the 10th placed one. SonjiCeli (talk) 18:23, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Macedonia First League

[edit]

Hi. I asked a question at WP:FOOTY about the professional status of the Macedonian First League, and you were recommended as a knowledgable user on this subject. Could you take a look? Many thanks. Bettia (bring on the trumpets!) 16:44, 17 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Macedonian First League is fully professional league, there was just a little problem about the paperwork with the Macedonian Football Federation which forced the General Secretary Lazar Mitrovski to step down. I think the problem was solved a week later or something like that. Isavevski (talk) 18:45, 17 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Soccer-holic and I are trying to improve league articles in general, especially when talking about colors used in league standings. We are thinking that codes (colors) should be unified and used in the same way in all articles. So take a look at this Soccer-holic's subpage: User:Soccer-holic/League season article, which explains parts which every league articles should consist of, as well as using the colors in the right order and code. Please leave your comments and improvements (if needed) so we can take the final proposal to the community on Wikipedia:WikiProject Football.

EDIT: Please post your comments here. SonjiCeli (talk) 15:18, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Could you explain this revert to me? A current event template is supposed to be used to warn our readers that an article is being massively edited and/or rapidly changing. If an article is stable (as is the case with Macedonian Prva Liga 2008–09), there is no reason to warn our readers. Templates like this one are not supposed to be used to merely inform our readers that something is ongoing, since that is already obvious from the article itself. --Conti| 14:53, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Milano Kumanovo

[edit]

Maybe it's not true, but I've heard that they are falling apart, selling players and that their chairman is in prison. I also heard that they will play in second league next year. I'm not sure if this is all true so could you explain it to me? I'm asking due to Milano's competing in Europa League, most likely against Slaven Belupo, a club from my country. File permission problem with File:Adriano Miranda.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Adriano Miranda.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. B (talk) 13:24, 19 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
