Clarifications:

File:Citybusgoiania.jpg [1] the copyright is most likely by the "Servico de informacao metropolitano" see [2] as an example, and there is no proof that they have released it into the public domain.
File:Newbusgoiania.jpg Take a look at this search [3] and you'll see that there's over 21,000 notices of © on the website, which leads me to think that it will need to be proven that the released this into the public domain.
File:Logo intelig.gif would be valid under "fair use" but you have tagged it as "public domain", which is clearly incorrect. This can be fixed by you changing the licensing to {{non-free logo}} and adding the appropriate Fair Use Rationale {{Logo fur}} with the appropriate fields filled in.

For #1 & 2, the proof of these permissions needs to be filed through the WP:OTRS system, follow the link for details - this is the only acceptable way of verifying their (c) status. Skier Dude (talk) 07:27, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

P.s. File:Logo sercomtel.gif can be fixed the same way as Logo intelig. No need to create a new one. Skier Dude (talk) 07:30, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
If you're taking the pictures, there'd be no problem- just make sure, if you can, that the picture keeps the "metadata" (should be the default with the camera/phone) as that helps if there's any questions. Those you can license, then, with any of the appropriate creative commons license. Obrigado & boa sorte. Skier Dude (talk) 08:02, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 22:15, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Files missing description details

[edit]
Dear uploader: The media files you uploaded as:

are missing a description and/or other details on their image description pages. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors make better use of the images, and they will be more informative to readers.

If the information is not provided, the images may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

If you have any questions, please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Theo's Little Bot (error?) 10:05, 14 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Latin American 10,000 Challenge invite

[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Latin America/The 10,000 Challenge ‎ has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Brazil, Mexico, Peru and Argentina etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Latin American content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon. If you would like to see this happening for Latin America, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Latin America, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant!♦ --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 00:36, 27 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
