Chaga[edit]

Could you cite a source for the change you made in the demographics section of Chaga (you changed the number from 800,000 to 2,000,000)? Thanks, — mark 15:36, 19 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

your recent edits[edit]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia! You recently added an external link to a blog in an article. It has been removed because the link pointed to a non-encyclopedic source. Please refer to Wikipedia's policy on external links for more information.

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Africa. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. -- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 02:20, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on African Technology, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. EMT1871 02:31, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The changes have been reverted, creating multiple redlinks to non-existent articles is not helpfull, neither are links to external sites which are not on topic.

Please stop. If you continue spamming you will be blocked from editing. --ArmadilloFromHellGateBridge 04:48, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

African blogs[edit]

A tag has been placed on African blogs, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --ArmadilloFromHellGateBridge 04:48, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Don't copy and paste material from other websites[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the Bibi titi mohamed article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

Feel free to re-submit a new version of the article. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later."

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page. Postdlf 00:37, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
