Your user page

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages, as you did to User:Itcwaterloo. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" is against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.

I have therefore deleted the page. Please have a look at our policies and guidelines (see the welcome template above) on how to contribute to our encyclopedia. Thanks. --Dirk Beetstra T C 13:36, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have moved it to User:Itcwaterloo/International_Tobacco_Control_Policy_Evaluation_Project, but please read the reply on my talkpage, and the above warning and welcome template. Thanks. --Dirk Beetstra T C 13:55, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This time it is the link additions:

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to List of smoking bans in Australia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

Please stop promoting, and please have a look at the policies and guidelines listed above and in the warnings. Thanks. --Dirk Beetstra T C 14:59, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
