Edit summaries

[edit]

Please do not the word "gay" in edit summaries to mean "lame" or the like. Wikipedia is an all-inclusive community, and many people would take offense to that usage of the word. Thank you. —Mets501 (talk) 16:12, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Identity

[edit]

I see on your userpage that you claim to have previously been an unregistered user. Could you please provide that IP address, or point me at some of your previous edits? Thanks. --Elonka 23:00, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I see you look decent for a writer. Call me. Izzy Dot (talk | contribs) 23:18, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Tainted poll?

[edit]

Hi. Sorry to bother you. You participated in a television episode article naming poll which now lives at this location. Some feel that wording changes have compromised the results of that poll. If you don't mind, could you please take a look at what is there now and add a quick note at WT:TV-NC#Looking for anyone who objects to the last poll to say whether your feelings on the matter remain the same? Of course you can feel free to read over the entirety of both links for more information. Thanks. —Wknight94 (talk) 02:09, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Civility

[edit]

It is important to keep a cool head, especially when responding to comments against you or your edits. Personal attacks and disruptive comments only escalate a situation; please keep calm and remember that action can be taken against other parties if necessary. Attacking another user back can only satisfy trolls or anger contributors and leads to general bad feeling. Please try to remain civil with your comments. Thanks! She's being nice about it. Tone it down a notch or two or three... —Wknight94 (talk) 04:23, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It seems to me that you are acting in an uncivil manner. Please remain civil and don't resort to making personal attacks or instigating edit wars. [6] --Elonka 01:21, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Aww come on, baby. You can't actually count that. And try subseting next time. Izzy Dot (talk | contribs) 01:26, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Elonka is correct — that comment was out of line. Calling her "baby" isn't helping you either. Curb the tone, now. Next time it's a block. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 01:31, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
