Shipping container wall, I think was built at BHP Yandi iron ore mine in Western Australia, they fill them the container 100% ~full of dirt, and use twist locks to connect them alternatively you could weld plate to the corners. From memory the bottom row was partially buried in compacted soil. Its only meant to have short liftspan, perhaps 10 yrs tops. after that the crushing station has been written off or moved elsewhere. The crushing station in the photo was built around 2003 and its highly likely its all gone now. Note the unpainted steel, BHP traditionally never painted their minesite structures (that since has changed after the eng consultants started specifying it) because of the climate and because everything gets covered in red oxide iron ore rust color dust Surfing bird (talk) 10:14, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
