VSmith, thank you for the correspondence, I hope I am answering it correctly? Should I be posting on your talk page instead? I took the File:Clinohedrite1.jpg photo, using a 9 Watt / 12 Volt short wave (254 nm) UV light. The rock is from my own collection, so no problems with permission or attribution. Is the file size too large? It seems to take a while to load . . . I will need to measure the specimen and get back you, have not yet figured out how to revise the information about a photo file I have contributed. If more than one photo is permitted within an article, a daylight photo could be provided. A link to the excellent photo gallery on Mindat, featuring rare crystalline specimens, might be helpful. I appreciate your additions to the article. I wanted to note somewhere in the text, not the Infobox, some additional observations on habit and fluorescent response, based on personal experience if these are appropriate = clinohedrite oftens appears as a surface coating, not just in veins or fractures. I would mention that it is an hydrothermal alteration product from hardystonite. Some specimens exhibit brief orange phosphorescence after exposure to short wave UV. Please let me know what you think. I would like to undertake a general sprucing up of wikipedia listings for Franklin and Sterling Hill fluorescent minerals! Replying here is fine - I have your page on my watchlist now. It would be good to update the commons page with the lighting used and the size if you have it. See WP Commons for other images from the Mindat / Rob Lavinsky group under UV and plane light. And, yes a companion image in plane light would be good - two images is fine in an article. Also additional work/images of the Sterling Hill area would be great. Might suggest caution about adding info from "personal experience" - seems that would run afoul of original research policy, best to stay with references to published info.
