Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. I have undone your edits to Our Lady of Zeitoun, however, because I don't think your edit summary is nearly enough of a rationale--on its own--for removing sourced content. The burden of proof is generally on you to show why this should be removed. Your next step should be to open a discussion on the article's talk page to gain consensus for your changes. If you follow these procedures, you will be more likely to be successful. NewEnglandYankee (talk) 21:45, 15 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. -- Willthacheerleader18 (talk) 18:10, 12 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Blanking your talk page

[edit]

Hello JD143726. Instead of blanking your talk page, if you wish to move the material off of it, Wikipedia prefers users to archive. -- Willthacheerleader18 (talk) 17:08, 13 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! I did not know that.

Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Pope. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Bettering the Wiki (talk) 03:25, 13 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I was not adding my own point of view. I was editing out someone else's (misinformed) point of view. The first sentence I edited out is completely ridiculous and laughable and 100% opinion of other passages. Thank you.
