While reading the posts to delete certain images it occurred to me that one of the reasons that I do not like Wikipedia is the lack of images on many topics. A case in point was the May 2010 decision to delete the image of a Norway postage stamp honoring the mathematician Abel. The rational that the text provided enough information about the stamp and that the article was not about postage stamps took away an important part of the article about Abel.
