Problems with upload of File:MSPR MetaKraken 46.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:MSPR MetaKraken 46.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 19:05, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of OneLink Communications[edit]

A tag has been placed on OneLink Communications requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Orphaned non-free media (File:Nikkobellic.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Nikkobellic.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:35, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:RookeShieldsBackontheBoards008-vi1.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:RookeShieldsBackontheBoards008-vi1.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 21:47, 12 June 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. 293.xx.xxx.xx (talk) 21:47, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thats not my problem. As the uploader, your responsibility is to make sure the info is correct. You need to hunt down the appropriate info. Otherwise, it will get deleted due to lack of info.--293.xx.xxx.xx (talk) 22:24, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:RookeShieldsBackontheBoards008-vi1.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:RookeShieldsBackontheBoards008-vi1.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the GFDL or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 03:04, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly unfree File:RookeShieldsBackontheBoards008-vi1.jpg[edit]

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:RookeShieldsBackontheBoards008-vi1.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the file's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the file description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. --Gordonrox24 | Talk 16:18, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

GTA IV characters ages[edit]

Have you checked the in-game police computer? I believe that is where they are pulling the ages from. –xenotalk 19:42, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I know that, but I mean't PICS from the LCPD site for characters' ages. If you have GAT IV for PC, I'm pretty sure you can capture images from the LCPD site and post it in the reference. Otherwise, I'll need the website so I can look it up. I can't add any references because it's a lazy job for me. JMBZ-12 (talk) 19:46, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
If you are too lazy to verify something then you shouldn't remove it. –xenotalk 20:38, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I undid my previous edit, so their ages are still there now. JMBZ-12 (talk) 20:41, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Cool. P.S. you may be interested in this userbox =). –xenotalk 20:43, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Also, even if I was able to grab the info of Johnny and Luis' ages from the LCPD site, I can't use the camera because the image quality will become poor and that users may not be able to see the image right. JMBZ-12 (talk) 20:49, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Just use the {{cite video game}} template. –xenotalk 20:51, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unless this is done by searching the LCPD site from the game, it can only be done with the PC version, using Fraps. PS3 and Xbox 360 cannot be taken through via use of camera, because of poor TV quality so I removed characters' ages once again due to lack of proof for cahracters' ages. JMBZ-12 (talk) 17:43, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Howdy, I've just seen your message now did you like my recent edits on Motorstorm? Turns out I was right after all because someone else has removed it too.

Cry moar you don't own Wikipedia as much as you think you do... so please get the admin cos they will only tell you what i told you, DONT INCLUDE SPOILERS IN VIDEO GAMES YOU IDIOT.

Besides I can edit any page on wiki thats the entire point and I don't have to inform you especially when you're an arse. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.254.9.255 (talk) 20:47, 17 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is wholly inappropriate. Her date of birth isn't relevant in the first place, and adding a fact tag to question her name is disruption. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 23:23, 12 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
