Responded to this message through email, thanks! JR00576 (talk) 19:52, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi!

[edit]

Good job on the article. I put a blank sidebar in it so you can fill in the content and delete the lines you don't need. You might try adding sources like [1], [2], [3]. I also went ahead and added a picture. MBisanz talk 00:37, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

THANKS for your help! I am part of the Segal Network, which is a group of people who were awarded a Segal fellowship through Americorps, City-Year, and other programs. I am trying to get people in the Network to research and add to this article as a way to learn about our namesake. Does this violate any Wikipedia policies? Thanks!

It could violate WP:COI, but since you are only past fellows, I would just be careful and write neutrally with citations. I can keep an eye on things and tweak them as needed. MBisanz talk 15:19, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

MBisantz, that would be great! I would truly appreciate you keeping an eye on the article and thanks! JR00576 (talk) 17:38, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Rush Limbaugh – Sandra Fluke controversy

[edit]

Rush Limbaugh – Sandra Fluke controversy has had changes in the length of biographical description of Sandra Fluke. It is currently quite minimal. If you have an opinion on how much biographical material on Sandra Fluke should be in the article, you can offer it on the talk page. —Anomalocaris (talk) 17:23, 27 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I'll look at it! JR00576 (talk) 17:50, 27 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations

Your article submission Eli J. Segal

[edit]

Hello JR00576. It has been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled Eli J. Segal.

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note, however, that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Eli J. Segal}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 18:02, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. New deal for page patrollers

[edit]

Hi JR00576,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:28, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
