Leigh Binder ; (January 25, 1959 – Present) is an American novelist, poet and artist. He is best known for his novel, "How to Kill Harry" originally published in 2009.

Raised in Lake forest, California, Binder went on to study English and Philosophy at the University of Washington in the mid 90's but dropped out like his hero, Jack Kerouac, to find his literary voice through traveling the highways of the USA. After working for a short time as a cab driver in Boise, Idaho, he took his experience and wrote "How to Kill Harry" in 2007. It was self-published and then picked up and re-published by Sibling Rivalry Press in 2011 as it's first full length novel and exclusive eBook.

In March 2008 he started a blog called "Stained and Burned" where he worked on his poetry and flash fiction pieces. In a burst of inspiration and self-expression, he self-published two poetry books, "Hope in the Well of Angst" and "Passing Through the Ghost" two flash fiction collections, "Smoke Breaks" and "All Flash no Pan Fiction" along with his novel in 2009.

He is currently working on a new novel and lives with his wife in Los Osos, Ca.
