Disambiguation link notification[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The National (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Disambiguation link notification for August 26[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Xpanse CGI, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Branding (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, JackBridgestone. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Ashraf Ghori, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. IamNotU (talk) 20:13, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Waqqas Qadir Sheikh has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable director, fails to meet WP:DIRECTOR and WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. May 2023[edit]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Batman: Arkham Origins shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. I’m Truly Sorry just please I Plead you don’t revert it back, I’m sorry JackBridgestone (talk) 16:42, 10 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Don't be sorry, stop doing it. The games nor the developers mention a date the games are set in, for I assume intentional reasons because there is no reason to tie them to a year. Your evidence is you posting screenshots on Reddit from a trailer for ARkham Origins, which of course, it's a game released in 2013 and set on December 24 so a trailer will say 2013 because it's advertising. Your other evidence is a pill bottle and some stamps for Arkham Knight, but as far as you know those pills are expired. The most likely explanation is a designer re-used or created assets and just threw a date on there. THere is nothing about the games that requires them to be tied to a specific time and date, and there are other redditors contradicting you in your posts. Unless there is an official source for these dates from the studio or developers, you searching every nook and cranny for assets with dates on and screenshotting them on Reddit is insufficient and ultimately I don't understand why you are wasting so much time trying to prove something that doesn't matter. First of All Stop thinking I'm a Joke, you think it's easy to always see you reverting my work and only for me to set it back again, and Second, I'm not the Redditor guy. I'm just trying to help you understand what Year The Games are set In. Please Listen. I'm Just Trying To Show People What Exact Year Arkham Games Are Set In. It's like what the hells the point of showing the Last of us games prologue is in 2013, it's never mentioned in the Games, Same thing is with Arkham Verse, I Swear if you remove 2013 as The Prologue Of Last Of Us then I Won't Do it For Arkham Games, But Of Course you won't, would you? It's Not Necessary For The Devs To Mention Dates Just Like Last Of Us. Please, I Just Want to Show The Year Arkham Knight Set In, What the hell is the Loss for you if I put dates??? Look your A Good Guy👍, But Please Put Dates. It's Like Wasting time putting dates for The Last Of Us Game when it mentioned no dates at all. I Would Love To Put My Time Putting Dates for Games. Advertising Word Just Sounds Wrong, it's Like Last Of Us. Clearly It's 2013 for a good reason. And How Do You Know Those Pill Bottle Are Expired, How do you even know that??? Ok, Fine if I can't Put Dates why Not you do it for me, Are you happy now at least.Please, I Worked My ass off finding these dates, I Plead You to Stop Reverting My Hard Work. Do You Know What Year Arkham Knight Set In With Proof??? JackBridgestone (talk) 18:25, 13 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
We really don't need to have an exact date of the Batman Arkham games, as it is unnecessary and useless. You did the same thing in Batman: Arkham Knight here and here. I told you on Darkwarriorblake's talk page that Reddit is an extremly unreliable source. Don't add dates to the story unless you have a reliable source. This can help you know what sources are reliable or not. TheCorvetteZR1(The Garage) 20:52, 14 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Well, then we don’t really need a date for 2013 prologue in Last of us as well, right? I Mean, Why Can’t we even put any of the games release date? I Had A Question, Do you have Proof What year Arkham Knight Is Set In? I’m Sorry but the only source is Reddit but the Dates Are all real, If I Can’t Put Dates Why Not you do it for me JackBridgestone (talk) 15:07, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop your disruptive editing.

  • Warning @JackBridgestone: I will block you if there is any further disruption or more personal attacks such as at User talk:Y2kcrazyjoker4. You must not repeat contested edits.
