Hi guys,Jack Hudson Jack Hudson (actor) here. I'm new to this and have no idea what I'm doing or if I'm just commenting on my own page haha. I would like to put up an image on my wiki page so when people come across this page there is an image under the bio. I've tried many different things and no luck. If there are any experienced editors here and you would be able to help, that would be amazing. Jack Hudson (Actor) (talk)Jack Hudson (Actor).

You seem to have found the Files for Upload page, that is the page that has instructions on uploading images.
Since there doesn't seem to be an article about you, and your only edits are to your user page, I assume you are referring to your user page, which is not article space. User pages are meant for the user to introduce themselves within the context of their Wikipedia editing or use. It is not meant as a social media style page for people to just tell the world about themselves. Please see WP:USERPAGE to learn what is considered to be acceptable user page content. If you are trying to create an encyclopedic article about yourself, this is highly discouraged per policy on autobiographies. This is because people naturally write favorably about themselves, and Wikipedia strives for a neutral point of view. Also note that any article about you would be just that- an article about you, and not a "wiki page" controlled by you. You cannot prevent others from editing it, or dictate what appears there. Keep in mind that a Wikipedia article is not necessarily desirable.
As an encyclopedia, Wikipedia only has articles about subjects shown with independent reliable sources to meet Wikipedia's special definition of notability. For actors, that is defined at WP:NACTOR. If you truly feel that you meet the notability guidelines and merit an article, you should really not be the one to write it; someone will eventually take note of you and write about you. If you truly think that you can write in the style required by Wikipedia(most people can't), you should use Articles for Creation to submit a draft for review by an independent editor- but you should read Your First Article beforehand. 331dot (talk) 13:49, 1 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict)Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We don't seem to currently have an article about you. I see all of your edits so far have been to your userpage and user talk. Please click on the blue link to learn more about userpages. In short, that is a place for you to tell other Wikipedia editors about yourself, to facilitate collaborative editing. It seems like what you are trying to do is to create a Wikipedia article about yourself, however autobiography is strongly discouraged here. You specifically asked about uploading a photo of yourself. You can do that at Commons, however please make sure that the photo you upload is released under an appropriate copyright license, and note that in most situations the photographer owns the copyright and it is the photographer who must release it. Below this message I will include a generic welcome message that has a lot more useful links, including a tutorial. ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 13:55, 1 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and thank you for your request at Files for upload! Unfortunately, your request has been declined. The reason is shown on the main Files for upload page. The request will be archived shortly; if you cannot find it on that page, it will probably be at this month's archive. Regards, AntiCompositeNumber (talk) 18:05, 9 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
