Your editing[edit]

Welcome to wikipedia. It's great that you are keen to edit here, but a number of your recent edits, while apparently seeking to be helpfully are actually not. Wikipedia articles are not obituaries. Information about things like cause of death or age at death should usually only be included if particularly relevant or notable. Everything should be written neutrally so for example a word like "just" to indicate someone died young is not acceptable. Generally age at death should be included in an infobox where dates of birth and death are used with this template: Template:Death date and age. If you have any questions, please ask. Thanks Melcous (talk) 02:22, 25 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

PLEASE STOP DOING THIS. It is not helpful. -Jason A. Quest (talk) 01:46, 26 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't matter, Jason A Quest. There's nothing wrong with highlighting a life well lived. Jackley244 (talk) 01:56, 26 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It is not Wikipedia's purpose to declare whether someone's life was "well lived" or not. Please read the policies that Melcous linked for you, and please stop adding redundant, sentimental commentary to articles. -Jason A. Quest (talk) 02:26, 26 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Continuing to make the same edits when it has been clearly pointed out to you by multiple editors why it is not acceptable can no longer be considered acting in good faith. See the warning below. Melcous (talk) 07:24, 26 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I get your point, Jason. Thanks for telling me. Jackley244 (talk) 14:47, 26 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I get your point, Jason A Quest. Thanks for telling me and have a Happy Thanksgiving. Jackley244 (talk) 14:49, 26 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Disruptive editing[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 07:24, 26 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

December 2020[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Barbara Rose, you may be blocked from editing. Multiple editors, including Melcous and JasonAQuest, have explained to you why it is not appropriate to add statements of the form "X was Y years old" in biographies of recently deceased people. Continuing to do so following multiple warnings constitutes disruptive editing. AleatoryPonderings (???) (!!!) 17:24, 29 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, editors. Sorry, editors. Jackley244 (talk) 17:15, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

More disruption - January 2021[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Deaths in June 2020, you may be blocked from editing. This goes for your edit to Deaths in April 2020 also. Ref (chew)(do) 22:41, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Final warning[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia. Melcous (talk) 00:45, 10 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

February 2021[edit]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  331dot (talk) 10:02, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Is this only a temporary or is just a permanent block? Jackley244 (talk) 14:33, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Once my block has expired, how do I make useful contributions? Will you help me with that please? Jackley244 (talk) 14:35, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You make useful contributions by understanding what was wrong with your prior contributions, heeding the advice of other editors, and abiding by Wikipedia guidelines. Please review the comments on this page, and if you wish to request unblock, follow the instructions in the block notice. 331dot (talk) 14:40, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I sincerely apologize for all the mistaken contributions that I have made, I promise that I will make useful contributions from now on including the ones on what was wrong with my prior contributions in which had heeded the advice of other editors which was abided by Wikipedia guidelines, I will review the comments on this page, and if I wish to request an unblock, yes I will follow the instructions in the block notice. Before I publish this reply to you, I have a question that I want to ask you, did you like how I combined both sentences to make it all one sentence? Jackley244 (talk) 14:53, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I don't really have a preference one way or the other. Are you a youth? (do not tell me how old you are) 331dot (talk) 15:14, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No, I'm not. Jackley244 (talk) 15:59, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

331dot, do you know what caused Rickey Dixon's death or not? Jackley244 (talk) 14:39, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know who Rickey Dixon is or how he died. 331dot (talk) 14:43, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Rickey Dixon was a football player and he died from Cardiovascular disease. Jackley244 (talk) 14:37, 19 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Sing (2016 American film) ‎, you may be blocked from editing. - Arjayay (talk) 21:06, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Madagascar (2005 film). - Arjayay (talk) 21:06, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Arjayay, in case you didn't know, DreamWorks Madagascar is dedicated to my great grandpa Jake's memory. The reason why is because he died 8 days prior to the movie release. Jackley244 (talk) 22:11, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Another final warning[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia. You have returned from your block to make exactly the same kind of edits you have been warned about multiple times. Continuing to do so will likely see you blocked from editing again, only this time for a longer period. Stop it. Melcous (talk) 10:40, 24 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

March 2021[edit]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Drmies (talk) 17:37, 30 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I understand that I'm blocked from doing anymore editing because I am not here to build an encyclopedia and I also understand that right now is not the time to be unblocked. I hope you appreciate my cooperation. Jackley244 (talk) 16:47, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I want to be unblocked because I have noticed that York Catholic High School got renovations and in 2018, York Catholic High School got a brand new ThyssenKrupp hydraulic elevator installed. Jackley244 (talk) 10:02, 6 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
