November 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Betty Logan. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Avengers: Age of Ultron, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hello Betty, i'm Jackson 96. I will tell you that the budget of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and Avengers: Age of Ultron are $250 milion and not $378 and $267 milion

How much longer are you going to persist with this? These figures come from the audited accounts submitted to HMRC, so yes they are correct. The figures you keep adding from IMDB are often vague estimates added by IMDB contributors. They are in no way, shape or form authoritative and certainly don't trump the audited figures released by a national tax body. Your crusade to replace these figures is disruptive and bordering on vandalism. Your constant sockpuppetry achieves nothing except wasting everyone's time. Betty Logan (talk) 20:41, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

No, IMDB and HMRC said fake news. Are no Official Source. Box office Mojo is official source. Betty Logan the official budget for Pirates 4 is $250 milion, no $378 milion. Christian Slyt said that £240 milion compared to $410 milion, but this is not true. No, they are no correct. So the budget of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is $250 milion. This is official confirms by Walt Disney Pictures in 2010.

Box Office Mojo is no more official than any other publication that publishes an estimate. Studios never release their accounts to the media, although they have to release them to tax bodies. In the case of HMRC they can be obtained via a FOI request which is how Forbes got the information. Betty Logan (talk) 21:20, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Betty Logan Christian Slyt said a fake news. the official budget for Pirates 4 was Just $250 milion. Box Office Mojo is very accourate source. Forbes said fake news. In the article of Christian Slyt he confused the cost of Pirates 2 with the cost of Pirates 3. So i doubt waths's he said in his stupid article

Box Office Mojo is very accourate source. Because take his information rispectively from the Major.

In 2009 Disney CEO Bob Iger and the president of Walt Disney Pictures, Rich Ross said that they are limited the budget for Pirates 4. So Forbes said a fake news.

Betty Logan, Christian Slyt is a exsperct of Formula One and not of movies. So his research is a rumors.

So Betty Logan what did You said?

Box Office Mojo is no more accurate than the likes of Variety or The Hollywood Reporter, and Disney does not release a film's financials to the media. On the other hand Disney DO release financials to national tax bodies, in order to qualify for tax credits and subsidies. This is what Sylt says:

Although On Stranger Tides was released in 2011 its financial statements are still being released as they relate to prior periods. The final set was filed earlier this year and shows that between October 2009 and April 2013 the production costs came to a total of $410.6 million (£240.7 million). It makes the movie the most expensive of all time even when compared to historical productions adjusted for inflation ... Disney was handed a total of $32.1 million (£18.8 million) from the UK tax authorities to make On Stranger Tides and it was money well spent.

It is pretty obvious that Sylt has not confused it with the second film (which was was released in 2006). All Forbes did in this case was access the figures that Disney submitted to HMRC. FilmLA also uses the HMRC figures too. Betty Logan (talk) 21:42, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Betty Logan, no. Box office mojo is a accourate source. Christian Slyt said fake news. £240 milion today equivalent to $317 milion, no $410 milion today. Christian Slyt is a journalist of formula One that don't understand cinema.

Betty Logan The Hollywood Reporter, Deadline, Variety, The Wallstreet Journal, Box office Mojo and the Walt Disney Company are very accourate source. Christian Slyt said fake news

And I suppose Film LA who are "The official Film office of the Greater Los Angeles region" are fake news too? I am done discussing it with you. Betty Logan (talk) 22:07, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yes this are fake news. Because no of each major confirms their budgets. So it's no official Betty Logan.

So if the budget of Pirates 4 was $378 milion net, it is a box office boom?

And the budget of Pirates 5? I immagine that $230 milion is not the budget of the fifth installament.

If Variety and Box Office Mojo are so reliable why did their "very accurate" figures differ by more than $100 million at the time? Variety estimated it cost $150 million compared to Box Office Mojo' $250 million. And the LA Times split the different at $200 million. The only body Disney gave their figures to is HMRC, and these are the figures both Forbes and Film LA have used, because they are the accurate figures. The $230 million figure is probably just another bad estimate; the true figure will come out in a year or two. You can deny it all you want, I couldn't care less, but if you change the figures again they will just be reverted back (again) and you will be blocked (again). Betty Logan (talk) 22:17, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

So Betty Logan Pirates 4 and 5 are box office boom?

Since Pirates 4 made over a billion dollars plus the DVD and TV money and they made a fifth film I suspect probably not. Even the fifth film has done pretty well but not as well as the fourth one. It's not a bomb though. Betty Logan (talk) 22:24, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Betty Logan but Disney don't recived only 30% of the bounty from International box office and 50% from USA box office? So Pirates 4 made just $241 milion in North America and $804 milion in box office worldwilde against a budget offerte $378 milion (excluding marketing) so....

Betty Logan Pirates of the Caribbean At's World End cost officially $300 milion (excluding marketing) but It did $963 milion in box office worldwilde. After the third movie Disney did the fourth installament Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides that for Forbes cost $378 milion (excluding marketing) and di $1.45 bilion in the box office worldwilde. So..... It was a success?

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales for Australian Governament cost around $250 milion, but Walt Disney Pictures did that the cost of the movie was $230 milion.

Betty Logan: Film Study confirms the Disney movies budget. So Betty Logan?
