Hello. I am the author Manil Suri. I was asked by the previous responder to provide a photograph for my webpage. I have a photograph, and have secured the copyright owner's permission for all rights (including copying and republishing). Not sure how to proceed - could I just upload the photo? (It is by my friend, the photographer Jose Villarrubia, and he has consented to it being used on Wikipedia.) Jacobian59 (talk) 15:19, 18 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If I interpreted your edit-summaries at the article correctly, you are Manil Suri, the subject of the article. Welcome to wikipedia, and thanks for correcting the factual errors on the page. It would really help though, if you could point us to some published sources that have biographical information about you, which we can then use to reference and expand the page. You can add such sources (books, articles, reviews, news items etc) either here or on the article talk page. For completeness, I should also point out wikipedia's conflict of interest policies to you; most of them won't apply to you, but its good to be aware of them to avoid any future conflicts.

Thanks - yes, I am the subject of the article, Manil Suri. The correct biographical details are mentioned on my website, which is referenced in the article already. I myself found several article that contain biographical information about you, and review your writing. I have added these sources to the article as Further reading for now, and hope to use them to expand the article sometime during the next month. Additional sources are welcome, especially if they are more comprehensive than the ones I found, but are not necessary at the moment. However, would you be willing to release a photograph of yourself ( under a wikipedia compatible free-license) that we can use in the article ? I'll be happy to help with any technical details.
