Yes, you are correct. Wikipedia is not a "monopoly", which means we must all edit within certain guidelines, policies and rules. When editing, we maintain neutrality, verifiability and leave out personal opinions. We also don't attack other editors and we remain civil. Vancouver talk page[edit]

I've removed your post here, as it's not related to the Vancouver article itself. Disputes with other editors are best worked out through calm discussion, and there are several avenues to go if you want to pursue your complaint and get other people looking at it. I personally don't see a big problem, you have to try not to get upset when you see those warnings show up on your page, and instead think carefully about what the editor is trying to tell you. Hi and thanks for your message. Let me be clear, I wasn't talking about problems with the article and neither I or most other people want a tourist-perfect article, we want a high-quality and accurate article. Where the problems do arise is when you insert a piece of text that basically just states your opinion of the way things are, and you expect it to be left there. You could be absolutely right, but that doesn't really matter, we're not here to put all of our opinions into articles. What you have to do is use neutral language to state the facts, and back up those facts with references that show other sources saying the same thing.
