Introduction Assignment

Hello Jagathi K, I decided to choose you and your Talk page to introduce myself to. My name is Nicole and I am one of the seniors in our Sociology class. I'm a Biochemistry student. If you're interested in an article to edit, I've already started to try to make edits on the Twinsters article page if you would like to join in. Hope you see this and respond!Loni &nr (talk) 19:51, 4 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Nicole! It is nice to meet you. I have actually started to edit my very own article about Catherine Hakim. I will definitely look at the progression of your work as well as offer suggestions if I have any. I hope that you do the same! Good luck!Jagathi K (talk) 02:20, 12 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notes[edit]

Hi! I think that your content is almost ready to be posted. I've made some tweaks to the material for flow. The major thing that I did edit was that I removed the portion about her hinting at a sex positive society where prostitution would be legal. The issue here is that unless Hakim specifically makes this statement or you have another source that says she did, it's seen as original research. I did a quick look through her article and I can't see where she made this statement clearly enough to really confirm the statement per Wikipedia's guidelines.

Other than that, I added some tags for places where you're a bit vague. For example, you mention groups but don't specify who they are - saying that they're just groups is too general and vague. I also noted that you used Hakim's book as a source, but didn't specify which page you pulled the material from. You need to make sure that you specify this, as otherwise the material may be challenged and removed from the article because they may assume that Hakim didn't discuss this in the book.
