April 2009[edit]

Speedy deletion of Daška Ivanović[edit]

A tag has been placed on Daška Ivanović requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 21:33, 2 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

May 2011 – Lars von Trier[edit]

Please do not misleading information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons. Thank you. Hans Adler 18:04, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It is not misleading. Read the external links to international press. Thank you.}}} User:Jahlove1234 18:15, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This has been discussed on the article talk page. You can't simply press through your version of the article without joinging the discussion. I am not going to revert you personally again but will ask for help on the BLP noticeboard. After the next violation of this form I will report you for immediate blocking as a vandal. Painting a living person as a Nazi ("drew international condemnation and outrage after declaring himself a Nazi and saying he sympathized with Adolf Hitler", without immediate clarification that this was a self-depreciating joke by a man who was raised as the sun of a Jew and later discovered his father had German roots; similarly for the porn film joke) is a clear case of vandalism. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

The complete report of this case is at WP:AN3#User:Yourfriend1 reported by User:Mr. Stradivarius (Result: Jahlove1234 blocked one week). It has been claimed you are the same editor as Yourfriend1. See WP:Sockpuppet investigations/Yourfriend1. If this is true, one of the two accounts will most likely be indef blocked. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 19:44, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, we changed this and ended up blocking Yourfriend1 as a sock of Jahlove. This account's block has been reduced to 24h for socking. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 21:48, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
