Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like you to assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not do on Jainism. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. NeilN talk to me 17:38, 4 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Jainism. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. General Ization Talk 17:44, 4 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Bharata (emperor), you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. SparklingPessimist Scream at me! 22:23, 8 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Information icon Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page Mahavira has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits.

  • Don't use deceptive edit summaries. If you have a reason to remove content then give that reason. An edit summary of "Spelling errors correct" while removing content is not acceptable - nor is the removal of that content without giving a valid reason.
  • If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, without adequate explanation, you may be blocked from editing. Begoon 12:45, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Note

[edit]
This message contains important information about an administrative situation on Wikipedia. It does not imply any misconduct regarding your own contributions to date.

Please carefully read this information:

The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.

Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you that sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

Call another good-faith edit vandalism again and you're looking at a block or topic ban. --NeilN talk to me 18:25, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Do not copy from sources

[edit]

Summarize and paraphrase, do not plagiarize. Seriously, you can and will be blocked if you copy and paste text from a source into the article.

Also, three different users have reverted your additions at Religion. They have given reasons, you have given no counter reasons. You need to start a discussion on the talk page to give reasons for adding material from this source, explaining why it's not undue weight. Ian.thomson (talk) 18:52, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at India. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 19:08, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Kautilya3. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Indian subcontinent, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. A question

[edit]

Jainallotrope, please can you tell me if there is any connection between this account and the accounts Dasalakshana and Mahavir dharma? The reason I ask is that, in only a short time, you have made very similar edits to articles, and on a few occasions you have used exactly the same, odd, incorrect English phrases, which make it seem like you might be the same person. Usually I'd ask a checkuser to investigate, but I thought it might be more polite to just ask if there might be a simple explanation before I did that. -- Begoon 14:24, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't get what are you saying.(Please excuse me for now if the format is incorrect) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jainallotrope (talkcontribs) 15:51, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page Ayodhya has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate.

  • It is not appropriate to accuse another user, who has simply made an edit in accordance with sourcing or other policies, of "disruptive editing". I notice you have done this more than once. Please do not do it again. Begoon 09:05, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
