Welcome

[edit]

Hello, Jameiladudley and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students. Go through our online training for students

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! JustBerry (talk) 23:15, 30 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Check In

[edit]

This is just a check in to see how your project editing is going. You should be well under way editing your project article. It appears you have not even begun. Please give me an update. If you need assistance, let me know on my talk page. —Grlucas (talk) 11:39, 18 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Grlucas: My apologies. I was having some trouble with my account at first, but I got it handled. I am working now on the project article, and will be sure to have it done. Jameiladudley (talk) 18:21, 18 November 2019 (UTC)Jameiladudley[reply]

Did You Know

[edit]

Hi! I saw that you nominated the article Negroponte switch for DYK, however at this point in time the article doesn't qualify for DYK because it hasn't been expanded to five times its original length, nor is it a new article created within the last week. I'm going to close out the nomination - I do think that there is potential here to expand the article, but we can open a new nomination in the future if it gets expanded to five times its length. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 02:09, 25 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Shalor: Thank you for informing me! I completely understand the reasoning behind why the article could not be nominated. Jameiladudley (talk) 05:01, 7 December 2019 (UTC)Jameila.dudley[reply]
