ENewsBot Query

Hi, I have been ask about our newsletter delivery and was unsure if it was possible to do what they wanted. One of the readers would like the newsletter delivered to a user sub-page and wanted to know if this is possible? Keith D (talk) 20:34, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Yes, it is possible to deliver these to a subpage if required. — JamesR ≈talk≈ 03:58, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Thanks - how does the user set it up (i.e. let the bot know where to post)? Keith D (talk) 13:55, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
If the user creates the user subpage (with any random text) and lists that page on the bottom of the members table, I will include it in the deliveries. Please let me know when you have added this so I can make the script familiarize with the added page. — JamesR ≈talk≈ 07:09, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
Thanks I have passed this on to user - will let you know when they have set it up. Keith D (talk) 22:45, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
The subpage User:Neutralle/WIKIPrjYorkshire has been set-up, have added a new entry at the end of the table. If this is incorrect then you can adjust as appropriate. It should get tried out tomorrow when next delivery is due. Keith D (talk) 12:24, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
Thank you for letting me know. The newsletters will all be delivered sometime soon when the server has finished collecting the information. Did you want that users' newsletters delivered to both their user talk and subpage or just the subpage? Thanks in advance, — JamesR ≈talk≈ 05:38, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
Thanks. I assume only to the sub-page. I was intending to put an asterisk in front of the user's regular entry once the sub-page was operational. Keith D (talk) 12:16, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
No worries. The newsletter process hung on the server so I will restart it now. — JamesR ≈talk≈ 07:13, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
Looks like it needs another prod. Keith D (talk) 23:02, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
Thanks looks like it has delivered the newsletter now but not done the sub-page delivery. Keith D (talk) 11:02, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

Newsletter delivery

Hi, as the previous note has been archived just adding a reminder here. The last delivery of the Yorkshire newsletter did not deliver to the sub-page that was set-up by the user. Keith D (talk) 12:07, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
