Request on 22:40:58, 3 January 2024 for assistance on AfC submission by JesseCan

This denial is ridiculous. I did arduous research on at least a dozen other persons similar to this individual in my learning process and almost none of those other persons' Wiki articles have any such credible sources listed as citations, some of them even only had ONE citation listed. And with most of the others, the links in the citations are all dead links. There are also COUNTLESS individuals that have Wiki articles that haven't accomplished a quarter of the things that this individual has. Not only that, most of those pages have all kinds of messages at the top of the articles that state things such as, "This article has multiple issues", "A major contributor to this section appears to have a close connection with its subject", or "This biography of a living person needs additional citations for verification." There are TONS of articles like that as well. Your reasoning that this person isn't "notable" is inconsistent with the fact that MANY far less notable people that I researched have articles. I wrote a well-researched, objective, fact-only article with MORE VERIFIABLE citations than most Wiki articles of a similar nature that I have read. And for you to shit on this article and deny it so quickly indicates that everything I've heard about inadequate, subjective Wiki editors thinking they are editorial gods is true. SMH

Draft:Raina Kumra

Hi Jamiebuba. Thanks so much for taking the time to review Draft:Raina Kumra. You declined the submission on the grounds that the subject doesn’t meet Notability guidelines. It may be unclear because Kumra’s name doesn’t appear in the titles, but three of the cited sources are in-depth profiles of Kumra in prominent sources: This feature in Inc. magazine; this article in the The Sydney Morning Herald; and this profile in Men's Journal of Kumra and a company she founded. She was also among the entrepreneurs profiled in this feature in Fast Company.

Kumra also received significant coverage in this article in Wired magazine and this article in The Economic Times.

Based on this press coverage, it would seem that Kumra meets the basic Notability guidelines which state: People are presumed notable if they have received significant coverage in multiple published secondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent of each other and independent of the subject. Could you please clarify why this was declined on the ground that she failed to meet the Notability criteria? I’d like to resubmit the draft and it would be helpful to know what more is needed. Thanks for your time. Roadwayside (talk) 18:50, 17 January 2024 (UTC)
