Request on 18:50:04, 14 March 2024 for assistance on AfC submission by SonyaSangster

Good Morning,

I have made extensive changes to the article Rob Shaw (Political Journalist) showing that this person is a published author about a notable political subject (the only author to write about the fall of the Christy Clark Government in 2017), a TV reporter on a news network, a weekly columnist at two notable news outlets, a weekly radio personality on the CBC, and a multi-award winner in his field.

I have added citations of his work, linked things to other wiki pages, and added links to videos of him interviewing notable figures, like the Premier of British Columbia, David Eby. He is more notable and cited in this article than this person who has a Wikipedia page: Richard Zussman and actually more accomplished than many of these people who have profiles and less citations: List of CTV personalities.

Rob Shaw is mentioned on the already approved CHEK-DT wiki-page: "In 2021, CHEK carved out a new role by bringing in Rob Shaw, a longtime Vancouver Sun legislative columnist and reporter, as the station's first political correspondent" - which I want to link to in this profile.

Can you please help me. I do not understand why this addition is being rejected and what I can do to fix it. Thank you. - Sonya SonyaSangster (talk) 17:24, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Thanks for taking a look at the William Ian Bell article draft. If I add these as links in the section at the bottom would this help to qualify the subject? Hopefully I am not misunderstanding anything.

Question

Hello, you've declined my request for the article of Yana Deliradeva. I have a question, what exactly did I do wrong? In our country, she, aswell as her mother, are really important fugures for the choral art and everything that comes with it. Can you tell me what can I improve? I was just trying to translate the article from bulgarian to english. Skimliii (talk) 17:03, 18 March 2024 (UTC)

We require in-depth Reliable sources that cover the subject. All the sources you added appear to be non-RS. See also Wikipedia:Notability. Jamiebuba (talk) 22:33, 18 March 2024 (UTC)

Jonathan Shank

Hello! I'm wondering what you felt was insufficient with my Jonathan Shank submission, since I've got more than 10 press sources focused specifically on the subject. Is it that most of these sources are industry press as opposed to more "mainstream" press? Hoping to gain some guidance for improving it. Thanks! PSPazW (talk) 22:11, 22 March 2024 (UTC)

Draft:Hafiz Bayero

Kindly requesting what it will take for this Draft:Hafiz Bayero page to get approved by Wikipedia, all complaints have been resolved, but it still has not been reviewed, can you please look into this? Or will you advise creating a fresh biography? Fellow22 (talk) 10:11, 27 March 2024 (UTC)

@Fellow22 The subject in question is not notable per guidelines for politicians at the moment and as such cannot be resubmitted currently. Maybe in the future the subject maybe notable. Please see Wikipedia:NPOL and Wikipedia:Notability. Jamiebuba (talk) 18:11, 27 March 2024 (UTC)

Jonathan Shank

Hello again! Kindly requesting the courtesy of a response re: rejection of Jonathan Shank submission, which has many citations of press on the subject. Thanks. PSPazW (talk) 16:52, 27 March 2024 (UTC)

@PSPazW The article was declined and not rejected. However, i will have a look at my earliest convenience as i have a few things to handle but if you feel you have made changes since my last decline and that the article is ready you can go ahead and resubmit, another reviewer may take a look. Jamiebuba (talk) 18:19, 27 March 2024 (UTC)
Thanks. Making a few changes and will resubmit. PSPazW (talk) 21:13, 27 March 2024 (UTC)

Another draft review comment

Hello Jamiebuba, I hope you are well 🙂 You seem to have gotten a lot of these kinds of messages on your talk page recently so I'll make this brief. Would you mind, if you have the time, to look over the Draft:Denys Davydov again? This is expanded upon in comments at the top of the page, but I believe there are enough secondary citations to warrant the subject notable now. This is the only draft article of mine, and it's been in the space for awhile, so if you have a chance, I hope you could take a second look at it to see if it meets mainspace requirements yet. Cheers! Johnson524 21:02, 28 March 2024 (UTC)
