A tag has been placed on Jack DuArte English Author (build page), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

userspace draft created in mainspace; another identical version of this page has already been userfied

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. —KuyaBriBriTalk 19:54, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Jack DuArte[edit]

Hello, it appears you are trying to build a draft article on someone named Jack DuArte. I have gone ahead and moved your draft to User:Jarmerson/Jack DuArte so that the wiki software recognizes the page as being in your user space. I have also requested deletion of the copies you created, which the software recognizes as actual, live Wikipedia articles. If I have assumed anything incorrectly, please let me know. Happy editing! —KuyaBriBriTalk 19:57, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I am trying to move this page to the main wikipedia articles. Can you assist?

Hi, I looked over your draft, and I am a bit concerned that the article does not clearly establish the subject's Notability. In my assessment, there is only one reference to an independent, reliable source, the reference about the super bowl party. I don't think it is enough, as it doesn't really make it clear that He is important, rather it seems to focus a rather lot on the horse. You should add more references (Are there any newspaper articles about him as an author, or that talk about his prior activity?) before moving it to main article space, otherwise there is a risk that someone will request deletion. That said, you should be able to move it yourself (against my advice) as long as there is not an existing article at the location you wish to move it to. If you are having trouble with the move itself, could you provide the exact name of where you are trying to move it? There is an article at Jack Duarte, so you would either need to use Jack B. DuArte or Jack DuArte (author). Also, a great way to make sure your article is ready for mainspace is to add {{subst:AFC submission/submit}} at the top, a reviewer will take a look at it, and either leave a reason why it is not ready, or if they think it meets the article creation guidelines, they will move the article to mainspace for you. I've added a few more references. Do you feel this is adequate? Thanks in advance, Jarmerson (talk) 21:31, 11 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

One thing going against notability is that two of the three books appear to be self-published. One is through AuthorHouse, and the other through Clarks. I can't find the 'publisher' for Spitfire. Only Resistance seems to be listed at Amazon - being listed there is no big deal, but not being listed means more... As to references, the Insiders Guide one doesn't help, nor does the AuthorHouse one. Referencing High School does nothing to establish notability, nor does the horse. The Chaser and Herald refs I cannot access, and they look to be local, but I have doubts about SmileyPete. What is that, exactly? Peridon (talk) 11:21, 12 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
