CMR Team 696[edit]

Hey, thanks for the "merge" vote, I was pretty much okay with merging it, too :P Although this team has its own page, it's not that big a problem. And, you probably know me, too! AA --rappo 17:28, 27 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. My pleasure. I do know you, jj 04:07, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for fixing the article[edit]

Thanks for fixing the Carz article, I thought it was a legitiment page. I should have noticed that it was completly unrelated. Red Director 20:10, 12 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wall-E[edit]

  • (waiting for official beyond all doubt, which this is). All we have is one sentence, which is not enough to run a complete article with. For example, are we 100% sure that it's Pixar? Some would argue yes, some see that there's some doubt. Do all of Disney's announcements actually come to fruition? No, they don't. It's still too early for an encyclopedic article to be created. SpikeJones 13:20, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Not wait for the trailer, specifically, but at least wait until there's more than a single sentence in an annual report before creating the article. And references from blogs won't count, per WP policy. SpikeJones 15:11, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pixar hoaxer[edit]

I've protected all the fake Pixar film articles from being recreated. Let's see if that works. Thanks, NawlinWiki 20:13, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Question[edit]

Is this you? — ArtifexMayhem (talk) 19:27, 16 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yes; Sorry I confused it, although it made it seem like I was correcting myself, which added to credibility (but had little long-term effect) jj (talk) 23:44, 16 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

VisualEditor notice[edit]

Hi there! I just wanted to let you know that I've had to fix or undo one of your recent changes, due to a bug in the software you're using to edit. This is through no fault of your own; there are a few known bugs (link to bug tracking) in the Visual Editor software that you're using. If you'd like, please feel free to report this at the feedback page, otherwise, feel free to try the edit again and see if it works.

The VisualEditor software is a new gadget that is being tested with around half of randomly selected new accounts. Its purpose is to allow for a visual, document-style editing environment for editing using MediaWiki markup, the technical and complicated old version of editing Wikipedia and similar sites. The VisualEditor test is only being enabled in articles and on userpages at this time. For more information, see the project page. Happy editing! Keegan (WMF) (talk) 02:03, 28 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't try to make copy & paste moves[edit]

It detaches the article from the edit history and makes it harder to identify who added particular material. In this case you just created a redirect loop. Timrollpickering (talk) 17:39, 22 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yep; Sorry jj (talk) 23:45, 22 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings. Because you participated in the August 2013 move request regarding this subject, you may be interested in participating in the current discussion. This notice is provided pursuant to Wikipedia:Canvassing#Appropriate notification. Cheers! bd2412 T 21:39, 4 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thomas S. Monson lawsuit[edit]

Hello. I was glad to see you agreed with me that the lawsuit against President Monson was too frivolous a matter to be mentioned in his WP article. Now that view is under direct attack from the user who posted a request to have it included. Short of discussing the issue, he is resorting to personal attacks that are unbecoming any self-respecting WP editor. I respectfully ask for your support in proving that this is a frivolous lawsuit and not worth mentioning on WP. If this user sees that I'm not the only one with this opinion, he might change his tune. And admittedly, I could use as many people in my corner as I can get. Thanks for your help. Please post on the article's talk page or reply on my talk page, as I don't routinely check other user's talk pages for a response. Thanks. --Jgstokes (talk) 03:55, 9 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
