well, let's be honest, every person starts their own Wikipedia page otherwise how else would they have them. Do you think Lady Gaga built (and manages) her own Wikipedia page? I'm just looking to get my Wikipedia page online, how else can I do it? Do I have someone else build it? 204.112.185.128 (talk) 19:34, 28 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That's not true. Articles are, for the most part, started by volunteers who are unrelated to the subject who've researched the topic and used reliable sources to demonstrate how the subject is notable for inclusion. Your draft is blatant self-promotion and has been deleted as such. Per WP:YOURSELF "If your life and achievements are verifiable and genuinely notable, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later, but creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged: we want biographies here, not autobiographies" (emphasis original). Wikipedia:Wikipedia is not about YOU has additional information as to why you should not be using Wikipedia as a platform to write about yourself.-- Ponyobons mots 17:07, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
