Slur

Hi, you can find more details on the recent discussion on the term Transgenderism here: Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2024 March 9#Transgenderism - it is being used as a slur against transgender people and by consensus the redirect was tagged as non neutral to reflect that. I don't deny that the term is used in a pejorative way. I just find it weird to have it in the list of slurs. All the other items could be used in "OMG, Pat is such a __", where you can insert any of the terms listed on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGBT_slang#Slurs_2 . But you could not say "OMG, Pat is such a transgenderism".
Furthermore, I am not certain that "transgenderism" is indeed part of LGBT slang, or indeed slang at all Jasy jatere (talk) 16:29, 2 April 2024 (UTC)
It is used to slur a group of people, but I see the linguistic point you make about the specific section, I'm moving it to LGBT slang#Terms related to transgender and non-binary people which already has other "related" terms such as TERF explained there. Raladic (talk) 16:54, 2 April 2024 (UTC)
Fine. This solves my issue. Thank you very much Jasy jatere (talk) 08:07, 3 April 2024 (UTC)
