Nelly Furtado articles

[edit]

Regarding your edits to Nelly Furtado articles: firstly, please do not undo other people's edits without any explanation, particularly when they are fixing something. Secondly, before adding chart and sales information to Wikipedia articles, please consider if the chart originates from a significant and notable enough world music market for inclusion. For more information, please read Wikipedia:Record charts. Thanks. Extraordinary Machine 01:46, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Album sales

[edit]

Hi; I just thought you should know that, with regards to your addition of album sales to articles, posts on internet message boards are not considered reliable sources and shouldn't be used. Thanks. Extraordinary Machine 13:20, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Don't_Say_Goodbye.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Don't_Say_Goodbye.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 00:17, 16 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Algo Tienes

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Algo Tienes, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Algo Tienes. brewcrewer (yada, yada) 02:44, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image:The_One_You_Love.jpg

[edit]

I have tagged Image:The_One_You_Love.jpg as {{no rationale}}, because it does not provide a fair use rationale. If you believe the image to be acceptable for fair use according to Wikipedia policy, please provide a rationale explaining as much, in accordance with the fair use rationale guideline, on the image description page. Some examples can be found at Wikipedia:Use rationale examples. Please also consider using {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags/Non-free. Thank you. Fair use rationale for Image:Ayúdame.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Ayúdame.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 13:57, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add charts listed at WP:BADCHARTS, such as the Argentina Top 40 or charts listed at top40-charts.com, to any Wikipedia articles. Thank you.—Kww(talk) 04:00, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Causa y Efecto. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. You must stop adding charts listed at WP:BADCHARTS to Wikipedia articles.—Kww(talk) 01:58, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Causa y Efecto, you will be blocked from editing. You must stop adding charts listed at WP:BADCHARTS to any Wikipedia articles. This includes any charts from Top Latino, the Mexican Top 100, and the Chilean Singles charts—Kww(talk) 22:30, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as those you made to Causa y Efecto. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. —Kww(talk) 23:56, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Dame Otro Tequila.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Dame Otro Tequila.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:16, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Block

[edit]

You have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for a period of 1 week as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our policies concerning neutral point of view and biographies of living persons will not be tolerated. Hiberniantears (talk) 13:28, 15 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I actually don't know why I'm blocked, if I've tried to contribute to the page and I added the references to the pages I've edited

Decline reason:

It appears that you have been repeatedly directed to WP:BADCHARTS, and repeatedly warned about adding unhelpful charts to articles, and that you've only been blocked because you didn't stop after those warnings. If, after reading the guideline, you have any specific questions about it, you can ask them below. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 12:49, 20 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I've repaired the unblock request so that an admin can notice this request and respond. However, I will point out that Javis1192 has been specifically warned about the charts he adds to articles and blocked previously for those edits. I don't see how he can claim to be unaware of the reason he is blocked.—Kww(talk) 23:42, 19 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mexican Airplay Chart

[edit]

What are you using as a source for the "Mexican Airplay Chart"?—Kww(talk) 20:37, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, but actually is deleted, the references I've put aren't right now.

I'm sorry, but I can't understand what you meant. Please try again. If you must, answer in Spanish, and I can probably understand.—Kww(talk) 20:51, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Argentina chart

[edit]

I thought there was a good Argentina chart. I think I was wrong. None of the blogspot charts are allowed. I can't find a good one. Your Spanish is better than mine, so maybe you can find one. It has to be a reliable chart. It can't be for just one radio station. It can't be for just one store. It can't be from Top Latino. It can't be from Americatop100.com. If you can find a good one, please let me know.—Kww(talk) 21:46, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I know about one page but I'm not 100% if it is good or not, please look at http://www.charly1300.com/argentinasingles.htm

They just take the data from Americatop100 and copy it. It isn't a real chart.—Kww(talk) 03:02, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as those you made to Paulina Rubio discography. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. We've been over this before, and you've been blocked for it before. You must not add charts that are listed at WP:BADCHARTS, and you know that Columbia, Mexico, and Argentina are all listed there—Kww(talk) 03:38, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I only have to say that I want my account to be eliminated please, because there are some pages of another latin artists with this same charts and nobody check them. Thanks.

Direct me to them. I spend time every day removing charts, and we are now at the point where there are no articles that contain the phrases "Mexico Singles Chart", "Mexican Singles Chart", "Columbia Singles Chart". I remove them whenever I see them. The main point is that you know that you aren't supposed to include them, and did so anyway.—Kww(talk) 03:45, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Indefinite block

[edit]

I have indefinitely blocked you due to persistent disruptive editing. Tan | 39 14:45, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
