Welcome[edit]

Welcome, I encountered one of you new articles on contemporary artists and I have to say that you did a good job! Did you know we have several Wikiprojects exclusively devoted to the developmet of content related to art and artists. You may want to check them out and look to them for guidance in figuring out Wikipedia. The projects include WP:WikiProject Visual Arts and WP:Wikipedia Saves Public Art as well as our partnerships with various museums, the one most relevant to you perhaps is with the Smithsonian at WP:GLAM/SI. I look forward to any future contributions that you might have, and if you ever need any help feel free to contact me on my talk page. Happy editing! Sadads (talk) 11:00, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Mark Wilson (artist) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article states no basis for notability, no reliable sourcing

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. • If you can add citations to newspapers articles showing Mr. Wilson is notable, I don't particularly object to the article remaining. cheers.--Milowenttalkblp-r 20:50, 2 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thanks for adding the sources. I think maybe technically the article creator shouldn't remove a prod, but i'm fine with it here.--Milowenttalkblp-r 12:25, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
