Hi JayKatJay, a few notes about the content you're working on so far:
- It looks like you're seeking to rewrite the lead (the first part of an article that sits above the table of contents). That's a fine thing to do. However, the lead is like an abstract. It's supposed to summarize the rest of the article. So there shouldn't be any novel content in the lead. That is why many people, when writing or redoing an article, do the lead last--they can see what's in the other sections and summarize them.
- A minor quibble, but Wikipedia generally avoids contractions unless they're in a quote ("It's frequently assigned to...")
- It looks like the Reflective writing article was recently rehauled, so you'll want to evaluate the best way to reintegrate your content into the article.
- All your material looks well-cited with reliable sources—nicely done!
- I'm guessing based on the given names "Kara" and "Kathleen", but I love how you selected quotes by women for inclusion :)
This looks top-notch and ready for integration into Wikipedia. For a refresher on moving work out of the sandbox, please review this training. Best, Elysia (Wiki Ed) (talk) 16:09, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
