Ideas for Wikipedia Project[edit]

1) Sara Roosevelt- Sara Roosevelt was the mother of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, President of the United States. She has a Wikipedia page, but it includes little about how involved she was in her son's life, and how many of his presidential decisions were advised by and discussed with her.

2) Lila Braine- She began one of the first Psychology of Women classes in North America. Braine had changed her course of study in psychology due to sexism within the field, but still made major accomplishments throughout her lifetime. She does not have a Wikipedia page.

3) The Pink Tax- The Pink Tax refers to the extra money that females have to pay for goods and services as compared to males. There is no Wikipedia page for this. I am very interested in the topic, but I'm not sure if it is an acceptable project topic because I don't think the name has been officially coined. Great ideas! As for Pink Tax, I just googled it and several articles popped up which suggests that it is an accepted term/concept. It's a great idea for a page! I can see where you could add images (pink pens, pink razors) as well as text. Ideas 1 & 2 are good as well. Next step: see what you can find for secondary sources for your topics. That will help you decide. Edw04005 (talk) 04:21, 14 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
