Hello, Jaysdayy, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. Help me![edit]

Please help me with...I recently got an email notifying me that somebody made changes to my page and marked it as "speedy deletion". What does this mean exactly and what do I need to do from here?

Jaysdayy (talk) 04:15, 11 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Depends on the deletion reason. What is the page name? -Gryllida (talk) 04:17, 11 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The page is Privacy in Prisons. I am still working on this page.

Jaysdayy (talk) 04:20, 11 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

1. Move the notes from Talk:Privacy in prisons to some other place, talk pages are not allowed to exist when the article does not exist yet. This is why it is nominated for speedy deletion.
2. You may wish to follow WP:WIZ to create the article draft as drafts have less speedy deletion criteria and more time for revising the article. --Gryllida (talk) 04:25, 11 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your help! This information is very useful! Jaysdayy (talk) 04:39, 11 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
