LA to FA 2022[edit]

LA to FA 2022

Dear JayzBox,

You're invited to a zoom call, taking place on February 11, with the goal of improving the article on Los Angeles to Featured article status! I often find it daunting to approach the Big Subjects on my own—so if you, like me, want a time to sit down with fellow dedicated editors and tackle something important and complex, this is the zoom for you! I, unfortunately, have no way to transmit snacks over zoom; but I trust you to exercise good judgement and discretion in selecting snacks of your own. Hope to see you there—if you're interested, add your name here!

August 2022[edit]

Information icon Hi JayzBox! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. December 2023[edit]

Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Heads of former ruling families. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. DrKay (talk) 20:32, 9 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for bringing it to my attention. I genuinely thought Donatus, Landgrave of Hesse was the rightful head of the Royal house of Finland given his connection to King-elect Frederick Charles I and further supported by a video released by UsefulCharts in 2019 regarding who would be the "King of Finland". I did review the rules of Wikipedia:SYNTH. Under these rules, wouldn't that mean the infobox template below the page on Donatus, Landgrave of Hesse should be removed as he's listed as "Titular King of Finland and Karelia"? Thanks.
