This IP address was used today by User:Unhappyal56, and was then autoblocked. I understand why...User:Unhappyal56 was evading a block. The autoblock was put in place to prevent further vandalism.

However, when I logged on, I was greeted with a message saying that I was blocked by User:C.Fred. That block was set in late June, and expired on June 30. This was of some confusion, the aforementioned block couldn't be active seeing as today is July 14. So I was under the impression that I had been autoblocked.

When I appealed this autoblock by following the instructions, I was informed by User:Smashville, that I was clearly evading a block. But which block? The one set in June, or the autoblock. User:Smashville told me that because of my recent edits, my intent was purely that of a vandal. Consequently, User:Smashville blocked me indefinitely.

I am feeling very helpless. I don't understand why the block from June was on my talk page, and when I followed a course of actions that seemed logical, I was blocked indefinetely for evasion (ironically enough, this was the cause of the block on User:Unhappyal56).

I then appealed the indefinite block, and was told to give my justification for requesting an unblock. My reason is simple, I haven't done anything. If I am wrong, please tell me how so.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

It does not help your case when you keep trying to blank out your talk page - not that you can delete any of it, it just takes us longer to read it all. It looks like a lot of WP:SOCK has been going on - note the list at Category:Suspected Wikipedia sockpuppets of Jcarleo.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 22:32, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
